Community building class plans s'more fun on Nov. 30

The Rugby Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with the Rugby Jaycees and the RHS Community Building Class, is planning a fun community event in conjunction with the Parade of Lights on Saturday, Nov. 30.

To kick off the day, there will be a free matinee, The Grinch starting at 2 p.m. at the Lyric Theater. Following the movie, there will be activities in the downtown businesses which include Small Business Saturday and kids events hosted by Rugby Jaycees at the Memorial Hall.

From there, the Parade of Lights lineup will start at 6 p.m. in the RHS parking lot followed by the parade at 6:30 and the Lighting of the Tree.

After the parade, the RHS Community Building Class will be hosting "S'more" family events located at the Merchants Bank drive-through. During the events, there will be hayrides starting downtown sponsored by Gooseneck Implement and Northern Equipment.

We would like to give a big shout out to our other sponsors; First International Bank and Trust, North Star Community Credit Union, Merchants Bank, Bremer Bank and Envision for helping make this possible for the community of Rugby.

Make plans to come enjoy a fun, free, and family friendly event in downtown Rugby on Nov. 30.
