Archie enlisted in the Navy in 1944 and served two years before being discharged in 1946. He took great pride in being a

Their family moved to Jamestown in 1961, where they permanently made their home. Archie worked for a number of years at Midway Chevrolet before becoming a self-employed accountant.

Archie enjoyed shooting pool, bowling, and meeting new friends. He always took great ownership and was proud of showing off his garden. He loved Blue Jay and

Jimmie basketball as well as the Minnesota Twins. Archie was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, American Legion, VFW, and the DAV. He touched many hearts with his contagious smile and ability to make anyone laugh. Archie was genuinely devoted to his family, friends, and will be truly missed.
