day, June 7, 2018 at the Heart of America Medical Center in Rugby, North Dakota.

Jon was raised in the home of parents in Devils Lake and graduated in 1994 from Devils Lake High School. While attending Lake Region College, he worked in a group

home that served developmentally disabled residents. He made his home in Fargo for 22 years working in the gaming industry for American Gold Gymnastics. He

eventually moved to Rugby and worked as a caregiver and was a great asset at home until the time of his death. Jon not only loved music, he lived for music. He was a talented musician in his own right, playing the guitar and saxophone. He attended countless rock concerts. There was not a song out there that he did not know and he became a resource for others in regard to his music expertise. He loved history, science, politics, spicy food, gardening and growing his own hot peppers, bird watching and taking drives to Fillmore. Those that knew Jon knew how caring he was and that he would do anything to help others. He was witty, funny and truly had a heart of gold.

Jon is survived by his parents, Terry and Gerry Brenno of Rugby; a brother, Jared (Katie) of Fargo; a sister, Jennifer Ivers of Gilbert, AZ; nephews, Evan Ivers and Matthew Brenno; other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Herman and Doreen Brenno and Frank and Emma Mahar.

Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 16th at the First Lutheran Church in Rugby with burial in the Persilla Watts Cemetery, Rugby. Pastor Mike Pretzer, officiating.

Friends may greet the family for one hour prior to the time of services at the church on Saturday.
