Mack

Tuesday, May 15, 2018 peacefully in her sleep. Ann was raised on a farm near Fulda, ND where she attended country school. On October 26, 1948 she married

George Mack in a double marriage with George's brother, Joe and Elna. They began their married life in Balta, ND as owners of the Balta Hotel and Cafe. After selling the hotel and cafe she began working in Rugby at Jacobson's Clothing Store and Andrew's Steak House. After George's retirement as the postmaster in Balta they moved to Rugby in 1977. Ann was never one to sit still so after the move to Rugby, she began working at the Rugby Public School as a kitchen employee along

with continuing to waitress at the Econo Lodge and later The Hub. She loved working and being around people and always said she would still be working now, if she could.

Ann was a member of the Catholic Daughters of Little Flower Catholic Church and also a volunteer at the Good Samaritan Hospital. She joined the Red Hats after

George's death and always looked forward to all their activities and adventures. Ann loved to play cards, especially pinochle, with whomever was willing to challenge her. She was considered the "Pinochle Queen." She enjoyed cooking and attending her flowers; and of course, shopping and decorating. Whenever she could pull a prank on someone, she did especially with her brothers and sons-in-law. She also enjoyed traveling to visit her family on the west coast as well as her children and grandchildren.

Ann will be deeply missed by her two daughters, Arlene (Tom) Reiger, Orrin, ND; Connie (Buster) Langowski, Hazen, ND and three sons, Glenn (Zoe) Mack,

Chandler, AZ; Richard (Michelle) Mack, Eden Prairie, MN; and Cordell (Kari) Mack, Chaska, MN; son-in-law, Jim Drege, Eden Prairie, MN. Her grandchildren include

Sean (Angie) Reiger, Wisconsin Dell, WI; Michael (friend Melissa) Reiger, Orrin, ND; Heather (Jeff) Carlton, Bend, OR, Brigette (Dan) Raile, McChord, AFB, WA; Bria-

na (Brenden) Leier, Mandan, ND; Kennedy Mack, Chandler, AZ; Addison Mack, Eden Prairie, MN; and Lauren and Leah Mack, Chaska, MN; and six great grandchildren:

Cole, Olivia, Mason, Matthew, Thomas, and Braxon.

Ann is also survived by two brothers Ed (Betty) Schall, Minot, ND and Jake (Arlene) Schall, Des Moines, IA; one brother-in-law Pius (Tillie) Tuchscherer, Puyallup, WA; and one sister-in-law Lorraine (Ed) Mack Schaefer, Brandon, SD and many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband, George; one daughter, Shirley Drege; three brothers, Aloise, Leo, and Leonard; two sisters, Rose and Tillie; and many

brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.

Family prefers memorials to be sent to the ND Veterans Cemetery or a charity of your choice.
