Hunter Safety winners

Hunter Safety courses in Rugby concluded Tuesday evening with testing and a prize drawing in the Memorial Hall basement.

The Barton Sportsman's Club gave away two .22-caliber rifles to one girl and one boy: Madison Corum and Maddex Kirchofner, respectively.

Hardware Hank of Rugby donated two pump-action shotguns, which went to Hudson Hjelden and Brooklyn Corum.

Cory Geiszler, Greg Odden and Joe Tuchscherer taught this year's courses, which began Feb. 6 and lasted for eight weeks.

Over 40 students took this year's courses.
