to her family, friends and a firm belief in God supported her in this struggle and ultimately gave her peace.

Paula was born to the late Virginia and Robert Mock in Anadarko, OK on August 13, 1943. Her father moved the family to Salt Lake City, Utah and then to Helena, Montana. Helena would become the location they called home.

After high school, Paula worked for the State of Montana as a key punch operator before meeting and marrying Gerald Genetzky a man from Towner, North Dakota in

Helena, MT July 8th, 1967. In 1972, they returned to Towner, North Dakota and made their home on the Genetzky family farm. She was a mother first, a wife and

hired hand second for most of her life. Our most precious memory is that around the table eating mom's food. We still don't understand how she could balance three meals a day with all the other things she accomplished daily. After her kids graduated, she worked outside of the home as a telemarketing customer service agent until her husband was diagnosed with cancer. Gerald died on October 29, 2004. Following his death, she gave up country living and moved to town.

We would joke with our mother that she was the happiest when she was on the road going places and being with people. Always a jovial person, whether she was visiting, playing cards, bowling, fishing, painting, serving food, or butchering chickens. She loved her family and friends, camping and travel. Another passion she had was gardening. She was blessed with a green thumb, which kept us in canned goods all our adult lives. Paula always inspired hard work and overcoming obstacles.

Paula is survived by her three children Brenda (Chris) Lemper of Waterloo, Iowa; Mindy (Russ) Genetzky- Haugen of Lincoln, Nebraska; and Corey (Renae) Genetzky of Bismarck; her grandchildren Ashley and Chelsea Lemper, Brittany Yoder, Kyra and Jetta Genetzky and great grandchild Easton Yoder.

She was preceded in death by her husband; a sister, Glenda Pennington; and grandchildren, Tiffany Lemper and Ashton Genetzky.

The family gracefully declines flowers, but encourages prayer, and sharing of memories for our healing. Memorials in her memory may be directed to the Towner

Senior Citizen Center (116 S Main Street, Towner, ND 58788), Bantry Union Cemetery (Box 502 Towner ND 58788 and Faith Lutheran Church f (405 1st Street NW Towner, ND 58788) are also highly encouraged.

Funeral Services were held at Zion Lutheran Church on February 24, 2018 at 10:30 AM with a time of fellowship that followed. Pastor Daryl Rothchild officiated the

service. Spring burial will take place in the Union Cemetery, Bantry.
