Allen Michael Graner

Oct. 23, 1953-Oct. 24, 2017

Allen Michael Graner died at the age of 64 years on Tuesday, October 24, 2017 at the Trinity Medical Center in Minot, North Dakota. He was born to Bernard and Isabelle (Froelich) Graner on October 23, 1953 in Bismarck, North Dakota.

Allen was raised in the home of his parents and graduated from Mandan High School. He continued his education and received his degree from NDSU in 1975. He was a fraternity brother at ATO during his time at NDSU. On June 23, 1978 he was united in marriage to Nancy (Howie) in Bismarck, North Dakota. Together the couple raised their children in Rugby, a daughter, Jennifer and a son, Michael. He worked in the Farm & Ranch management field for 41 years. During the course of his career, he received numerous accolades and recognition for his contributions. Allen loved his Twins baseball, had a love/hate relationship with the Vikings, and had

a passion for NDSU Bison football. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and watching his grandchildren grow up.

Allen is survived by his wife, Nancy of 39 years; daughter, Jennifer (Andrew) Bartsch and their children, Jack and Emily of Fargo; son, Michael (Lyndsey) and their chil-

dren, Ally and Luke of Rugby; a sister, Judy Eckroth of Las Vegas, Nevada; numerous nieces, nephews; other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by a sister, Michelle and his parents.

Memorial Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 31 at Little Flower Catholic Church in Rugby. Father Tom Graner, Celebrant.

Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Monday with a Rosary and vigil prayer service beginning at 7:00 p.m. at the Anderson Funeral Home in Rugby. There will be no reviewal at the church.
