The 2016 NDHSAA State Class B One-Act Play Contest was held Monday and Tuesday, November 21 and 22 in Jamestown.
The top 8 places awarded at the finals were as follows: 1st Larimore, "Shut and Bar the Door";
2nd Enderlin, "In A Grove: Three Japanese Ghost Stories"; 3rd Central Cass, "The Amish Project"; 4th Richardton - Taylor, "AND"; 5th Edgeley High School, "Nora's Lost"; 6th Thompson, "The Survivor and Other Urban Legends"; 7th New Salem-Almont, "Cyrano de Bergerac"; 8th Burke County, "The Struggles".
Superior Actor Awards were presented November 21 at Jamestown High School to: Alexis Waldren - Washburn; Cassidy Neidviecky - Central Cass; James Seibel - Harvey/Wells County; Robert Wright - Glenburn; Annah Greenmeyer - North Sargent; Daniel Young - New Salem - Almont; Lexi Mahlum - Burke County; Katelynn Holmgren - Kulm; Shelby Tilton - Larimore
