Temps in the 90s, Liquid blue coming

Temperatures have been in the 90s for a couple of weeks with little rain in Pierce County. As one farmer put it, "We are in need of a drink of water." The Prairie Village Museum has several activities going on including the annual Village Fair in August. Tourists come here from all over because it is the Geographical Center of North America. Liquid Blue, a well known and popular band from California is coming to Lisbon on Wednesday night, July 25 to perform for Music in the Park. A picnic and arts show has been planned in conjunction with that concert. Recently, a group of photojournalists from Italy came by Amtrak from New York and spent a day in Rugby. Two young ladies from Denmark are here shooting a documentary on Rugby. The Boys won second place in Babe Ruth Tournament action. Bottineau took the championship.
